So... my intuos 3 started to die a little. Pen wouldn't work at the bottom of screen sometimes, but sometimes did. Reset the drivers and the computer a dozen times, with intermittent success. Eventually, my wacom was unable to detect pens. The batteries have not died. I have two standard pens and one is brand new.

So I get really upset one day when nothing will work. I have to have my wacom to complete a project. So I go and order a new one to come today. I plug in the wacom. Move the pen around. It works. Put in the CD. Start installing the drivers. It stops working. Light comes on, but pen doesn't function at all. Reset the computer. Not working. Reinstall drivers off the website. Reset the computer. Not helping.

I'd be willing to uninstall the drivers, but the Wacom site says to go to somewhere called Applications, and I'm not sure where that is/ if it exists in windows 7.

Help me, Obione Kanobi, you're my only hope.

It was under:

Start > Control Panel > Recovery > Remove Programs

Fixed it mostly. Sorry if I wasted anybody's time.
