Hi

I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips abouthow to make the kind of graphics on this picture (http://www.play-free-online-games.com/listmachine/uploads/image_illyriad_2.jpg) (from Illyriad.org). I have been talking to one whom say she uses Flash mx. There is no animation involved, only development progress levels on the buildings. As far as I have understood, I could easely use Photoshop for this kind of work.

I am very new to this kind of things, but are very keen on learning it. Do anyone have any goo tips on work process, tools etc?

Thanks in advance:)

You could even use MS Paint if you're looking to do sprite images like that. You won't find much in the way of examples or tutorials for pixel art here on Concept art, mainly because it's a different focus than the majority of the site, however, if you are looking to explore pixel art creation, I'd suggest taking a peek over at PixelJoint (http://www.pixeljoint.com). They seem to be to pixel art as conceptart.org is to digital art :)

Thanks for the info. Been talking to my client and his tech folks, and are starting to get controll of it. But I'll head over to PixelJoint and have a look and talk to some people over there.
