jsut can't get away from yourself, ever, huh? well, at least your jovial about things this weekend. Thanks for the invite to the party, it was good to hang out a bit. I dig this piece, the car idea is cool. have to imagine you were just tearing it up this weekend.

Hola mr andrew,
Did you perhaps paint the picture of the Chozo in the metroid booklet. Also is there going to be an art book for it or nope?
Thanks

they're not chozo :) they're Bird People - chozo is japanese for "stone statue" :) Calling the stone statues "stone statues" is a little silly.
And I am officially the biggest metroid nerd ever - i apologize. This is what happens when i don't have time (or $$$) to play metroid prime until xmas break :(
oh yeah, and that ink drawing is really awesome by the way - i have a real soft spot for the sheer force that different line weights can deliver - rendering a shape and giving it depth in black and white (or manila, or whatever ;)) is just an amazing skill - taking art down to the most basic level, simplicity is beauty is simplicity :) i love it!
