Now that's a kick ass post! Great work, your 'Yankees Robot' is a killer concept, and very well executed, my favorite of the bunch :D Keep up the great work.

Nice going Kevin! You have some beautiful studies going on. I was going to advise you on using less black and more grayscale on the first post paintings, but I think you solved that issue on the following ones. Actually the last ones are incredible, really awesome.
Do you work with art already?

Hey thanks guys! Yeah I'm struggling to fit in concept art when I have time, I've been studying graphic design for the past 2 years and have trouble getting excited about page layouts and font faces...
Cl0aked,
I've done some amateur work with some video game mods in the past, but not as a full-time position. I am looking for a job though in the concept art field for video games. I get such a rush working with a team and enjoy the energetic atmosphere and motivation to make make make. It's tough to find inspiration though when you're studying a major that is a bit unrelated. These forums are a great place to see people grow and contribute to the art world, I'm extremely impressed with all the work here. Are there any competitions on the boards where we can see people working on deadline as opposed to the hundreds of hour pieces that are posted up? Some of them are just great, but I also appreciate someone who can chew out ideas quickly and can make efficient their linework and brush.

hey! Thanks for the kind words, I have a long way to go! I'm trying to find that medium between time and finished-ness of the drawings.
here's another 1930 ford
passed a lamborghini, or rather he passed me, on the road the other day, oh man I want to start rendering out some of those cars. They're one of the few cars that makes you think of a verb when you're looking at them.

Ah I like baseball...
I would say on T.V it is tolerable...there were always games out west or spring training because of the weather.
It is quite a rush, a good bit of show for the first few years, but after a decade or so, the father's baseball zeal will outgrow his children, and they'll begin to loath the 50 year old men screaming bud light at the movement of a white ball, pressed in tiny seats next to their wives and frightened children. I do have a lot of respect for the game though before it became a merchandising food business/ad dealer. Seeing Roberto Clemente and Gherig in the classics is always great.
Thanks for the support guys, here's a couple more from the past few days. The turtle dude is an assignment for class combining an animal with a human.

Very nice models! I like how you show to us the final product! Very good motion, shading, painting and mood. You create a dynamic art which catches the eye! I vote 5 stars for the graphics. - G
