we had to pick 12 words out of a hat and then use 10 of them and arrange them into a sentence. then from that sentence we had to creat an illustration. mine was

i am down, without a fence or want of a dolls wisdom. private homes served no effect for my vintage agony.

and this is what i came up with. eh...hope u like, if not, then i hope u dont like :P

having caught your sketch thread I was happy to see you posting in Finished. Your rendering and loose style plays really well into your work, but I'd love to see you commit to a large finished piece.

This is obviously a vibrant step in the right direction, and if you could bring some of your sketchy dynamic poses into something even more substantial I think the product would be impressive.

i like it. especially the skin colors do it for me, and the eyes. i love small circular dots as eyes.

the approach to getting a topic is cool, i have to give it a try. obviously, you will come up with shit you never imagined.

malus: thanks! actually i had to commit to this size restriction due to the parameters of the assignment. yeah, im trying to integrate my sketchyness more into a painting...but im not quite sure how to do it.

gekitsu: yeah, the initial approach to getting started is cool. it really makes you create an illustration without any preconceived notions, and to just let things flow that you would have never thought about before. i think i might explore this method some more in the future.

amador: aww, thanks! i am too scared to post here more often, heh. yeah this is digital...i kept going back and forth between painter and photoshop..and i noticed from doing so the colors shifted and there were some parts that began to lose their quality....as if it was a low quality jpg or something. but anyway, im trying to do some more digital pieces. i am still not very comfortable yet with digital...or just painting in general. i need to work on my color theory!!

i dont particulary like the picture it self for the fact its simply not the style i enjoy but i find the way the picture is developed from a random sentance really interesting i have tried to do something simalar before by using a random number generator and doing a picture from a arandom word in the dictionary but i always find i have really constricted myself and i try to keep to close to the words meaning an dit bugs me butpart of the picture i do really like is the girl/woman in the bottom left corner her eyes just grab me.
Good Work.:)
