Would you be willing to help me after I share my story with you? If so, please consider signing my petition after you read the rest of what I have to tell you.

NOTE: If you think it's important enough to share this message with your friends at dA, please do so. I would like this to become a non-annoying chain-note.

For the past 6 months, I was harassed & threatened by complete-strangers at this website, who wanted to know my sexuality, location, and age. Most of these people are members of a website known as "EncyclopediaDramatica" (ED). The website is actually banned from being mentioned in the comment-sections of DeviantArt.com because there is porn & hate-messages featured on most of the articles at ED.

I don't know why, but some of the admins & many members of this website decided it would be a "good idea" to make a dA-group called: :devDaramatica: and invite members of EncyclopediaDramatica to join it. The group was (and still is) used to provoke certain members of this website. I was 1 of those members, who was provoked to confront the people, who were mocking me on that group-page & taking screenshots of my artwork (even little comments).

Anyway, I reported many of the members, who were provoking & harassing me at DeviantArt.com, but the admins obviously didn't do anything to stop them from bothering me, so I got a few of my friends to harass the very same people, who were provoking me for months.

Eventually, I was banned from deviantART for "persistently harassing deviants" when the admins knew why I was doing it. I was defending myself. Many of the people I verbally-attacked were making threats against my family & openly calling others to find out where I lived. Some of them even joked about bombing my house.

Now that I have some free-time, I'm using media-outlets (such as Twitter & Youtube) to share this story with others, who may remember how kind I was to them. Many of the people I met at this website were also my interviewees for the magazine-project I was working on: Deviant Art Magazine.

My friends and I own the #1 Deviant Art fan-page at Twitter.com/DeviantArtFans & we're trying to get a huge following at Youtube & Myspace. So if you would: please consider subscribing to either:

Youtube.com/DeviantArtFans (http://youtube.com/deviantartfans) or Myspace.com/DeviantArt.com (http://myspace.com/DeviantArt.com)

I'm known for making a lot of fan-pages for art-companies & independent artists. So if you ever want me to feature your artwork at any of my fan-pages, I would be glad to promote you.

It shouldn't take more than 2 minutes to sign my petition: Unban Chad Syphrett from DeviantArt.Com (http://www.thepetitionsite.com/503/Petition-To-Uban-Chad-Syphrett-From-DeviantART)" - If you sign the petition with your dA-username or real name, that would be perfect. By the end of this week, I'm going to have the petition featured on Youtube, Twitter, and Digg.com

I think you should step away from the internet for a couple of days...
DA is just a website, there are many others.

I do not understand what you are trying to do and to be perfectly honest, the story of someone who was banned from a website, despite the reason isn't something that would interest anyone than those who were involved.

If you are trying to get unbanned than this is sure the wrong way to do.
You should write a mail to DA administration and not taking arguments to other sites unless you wish to be banned elsewhere too.

This was your first post in this community, not a great start to became a dedicated member and making friends...

You should invest your time and energy in studies and painting, not in bashing.

cheers

it would be worth ignoring them. you're only giving trolls what they want by doing this

I would like this to become a non-annoying chain-note.

As much as I sympathize with your cause, this is not the way to go about achieving it. Chainmail is rarely not annoying and I believe this one most certainly would be.

I'm fairly active in the dA community and I'm familiar with this guy. It's worth noting that dA was not the first (and probably not the last) site this guy was banned for, and his ban was not without reason.

I'm working on gathering evidence to back up this claim.

You wanted to be an internet celebrity, looks like you got your wish. Sorry things didn't turn out quite how you planned.

The last thing we need here is DA/ED drama spilling over, thank you. CLOSED.

(Also, why didn't you use your existing account (http://conceptart.org/forums/member.php?u=191673)?)
