One of my favorite Family Guy episodes is the one where Stewie is killed by peter. I thought it'd be fun to do a sculpture of a dead, bloodied Stewie.

For the head, I got two styrofoam eggs, and cut each in half to form a football shape. Those I used epoxy to join together. I then sculpted the head with magic sculpt and used stiff wire for the hair. The body was made out of Super Sculpey, and once finished, I airbrushed him with acrylic paint. The base is made of Super Sculpey and then airbrushed.

Brilliant. I am in love with this :)

I love family guy,and I think this is the best statue of Stewie I've seen. I'm really amazed at how it looks like a still from the show from every angle, Most sculpts of family guy look ok from one angle but a bit strange from another.

A really great choice for the pose, and the details are absolutely spot on.

have you done any more from the show?

haha that's hilarious man. Absolutely brilliant. As far as the actual sculpture goes, bongsplat hit the nail right on the head. Excellent work!

Thanks for all the great comments! I haven't done any other family guy sculpts, but plan on doing another one of stewie where he's sitting on rupert's shoulder (his fantasy human form).

Such a great job,I would buy this. Magic Sculpt is difficult for me to sculpt with because it is so sticky. How long did it take you to sculpt the head? Did you have to sand it down a lot?

Yeah, I had to do a lot of sanding on the head. Any time I use magic sculpt to do any detail sculpting, I have to do it step by step. It took maybe two days to finish. Also, if you put a magic sculpt sculpture in a warm oven (set at a little below 100 degrees), it cuts the cure time down from a day to just a couple hours. I'm selling this on eBay right now too for those who are interested.

This is the bomb! I have seen rather a lot of these and Bong is right, this just feels perfect. For my money doing this with less detail to lean on, is harder than something with a ton of detail. This really makes me think of Stewie's classic lines. I hope you are casting this on a run.
I would love to get my hands on one of these guys - unpainted would be best as I intend to give it a bronze effect and a fine oak base. The ultimate upscale Stewie memro.

Great job all around. It's just flat out cool. Nothing more I can say without being redundant.
