red concept WIP

hey ya'll this is a new WIP for a character im playing w/ dunno if its worth finishing, its still early about an hour of time spent on it thus far. Just for fun.

I should add a close up detail the res is pretty high and u lose the detail far away...owell.:rofl:

here is a small update workin on defining the right shoulder. He supposed to be a SciFi Cyborg thing, with the excoskelton exposed at the neck, and at the forearms and waist.

Cool :D i did a cyborg for tdome.... okon to giving you crits.

- first i would like to address your light source. it seems to be coming from the upper right region, make sure you take not in that for everything and also don't forget about cast shadows. just giving you something do be aware.

- colour, i am takinga n oil painting class for the first time, and what i am told alot is that there is really no real black out there and there is no real white. everything has a colour. even if it is just slighting brown or blue etc. Also if you ctporg as a metal quality to it, there would be some enviromental reflections in it.

- perspective, don't forget about this it is very important to help give you character depth, along with form and shape.

not a bad start, keep working at it and don't be afraid to try somehting new with it. "imo" i would cool down the back ground slightly. just alittle. he is warm and warm advances, so if you cool down the background it will receed (sp?) alittle. giving him more depth and percpective...maybe:rolleyes:

mac, thanx thoes are all valid point, especially w/ the background becoming cooler, and some reflective qualities in the metal. Thanx!

i really like your cyborg,,,,but i had a question.....if it has muscles,,,,what happened to the abs ribcage...i see very little of it,,,not as detailed as the arm though
