30 minutes of sketching to find a decent design. 30 minutes in photoshop for color and finishing. I personally think it's a "handsome" craft. I do love analogous color schemes.

I think your basic design has some merit to it, I kind of like how it makes me think of a Lamborghini Countach, with it's sloped back.
Perspective isn't too far off, aside from the engine nacelles and the ground plane, and you had the right idea when you added panel lines.

I would sharpen up the contours, and work with the colors: you may want to pull more contrast, or maybe make everything high-key would be fit your taste better.
I would also look into adding atmospheric perspective to the ground to emphasize depth, while adding more color to the clouds, for extra oomph (for lack of a better word)

Not very fond of my pic, sticking to my guns and posting it regardless. It's not really Tri-colored, it is underwater instead of flying and I wouldn't say it's handsome. Really nice work everyone has posted, I am intending to do this regularly now, I could definitely use the practice. :D

I decided go try a 'doodle and then make something out of it' route, and ended up with this weird sci-fi seaplane thing, though really I suspect that by the future that they'd be able to produce some better piers to park against that these ratty things.
