Hello everybody!

I have a problem with the screen surface of my Cintiq 21UX. I purchased it about 1 year ago and it has a lot of scratches. I also called the provider in order to replace the screen but this is not possible, so the only way I have to solve the problem would be to install some screen protector.

I've found this one on the web:

but, has anyone checked if those screen protectors works well? I mean, is there too much difference between the wacom original glass and this protector? Does the pencil slides the same way?

Thanks in advance,

Best

I would be careful with screen protectors not 100% sure about this but i think it voids the warranty of your cintiq

Hi there, Not sure about the warranty thing, but as it is only a film that sits on the surface of the panel, I'd be surprised if it did affect it. Still, I use a screen protector made by a company called Nu-Shield. They do a range and will even make custom sizes for you. They just have a self adhesive strip around the edge and are easy to remove, leaving no marks or residues. If a little of the "sticky" remains, just dab it off with a piece of selotape. No damage what so ever. Great.

I have found that there is a little more drag on the pen tip with the protector in place, but I personally like it.

Hope this helps out.

All the best.
