it looks very nice, the feet bother me, i think they look too "heavy".

well, I'm not very goo at painting so I'm not going to open my mouth about that. Over all I really like the piece tho. there are only two things I can see wrong with it... as davi said, the feet don't look feminine enough. She looks very flowing in the gown and all but the feet don't help that out. Also the archway is a bit off, the top seems to point to the right. a very good job tho. I like it.

I think you've got a winner here. To give a crit is tough on a piece like this- it's very dreamlike, so I wouldn't hold you to mundane things like perfect drafting, logical light sources, etc. What is your intent? Does it matter to you that the arch is assymmetrical, or is that a "statement"? Sure, the fiddler has less-than-perfect little supermodel feet, but are't they harmonius (no pun intended) with the anchoring roots of the tree? You've got to tell us more about the painting, 'cause I think this one's more about expressing mood and feeling than it is about expressing form and function...
