Is that traditional or digital? I can't tell, but I think it's digital by the looks of the depth of field. Absolutely awesome texture. I want to see it move and posed. Cool stuff!!! The lighting is unreal as well.

Great texture! Great character as well! Is that a scar over his eye? It is a great touch. I am really digging the belt and the drapery of his robe. The costume elements add a lot as well.
Those details tend to get lost in a lot of 3D work.
About the render tho, is he supposed to be tiny? The DOF makes it appear to be "macro" style photography. This combined with the scale of the grass and the dirt gives him the appearance of being abour 3 inches tall.
At least thats how it looks to me.
Great work!

That is seriously awesome - what did you use to render it out? Very impressive, I thought the first render was an actual photo of a model.. this is testiment to the quality of it!!!
Great work :)

thanks guys,
its maya render, i actually dont like much maya render, but i dont have a better one, and mentalray is just too much...
i used the "raytrace ambient light shadow with high radius" trick to get that ambient oclusion (or whatever they call it).
here new render:
