Nice painting! The hands look a little weird, llike they're gripping the knees instead of just resting on them, and the fingers are a little stubby and pointy, but that is a beautifully painted face! I love the colors in the top left sketch, as well :)

Hi Deerinheadlights, :)

Thank you so much for your words.

Well, the painting you're talking about is not finished, the head even.
That's a prob i have, i need time to finish my work and now it's time to paint the hands and the reste of the body.

Anyway, here is a Vermeer MasterStudie i did lately and that one is definitely done.

Real nice start man. Love the colors and all. Those studies came out really well. The ingress study has issues with the hand. I wanna see more :)

Hi Wanna, thank you very much indeed.
As i wrote earlier in the thread, the hand is not finished yet.. There's a lot of work to do :)

I would like to post a portrait i did, few year ago, with one of the first version of Artrage and based on a "caricature" of Kruger, one of my favorite painter.

Everything is Artrage.

Just a try with AR3 as a rough tool for storyboarding...

Hi Weeks! I really really like your ArtRage studies - the details, blending, textures. I downloaded AR3 but I find it hard to polish my works, I can't to refine it, put small details. It's quite a change from photoshop-kind-of-software but and looks like fun but being unable to blend is putting me off. What is your favourite tool and how do you blend? I tried oil brush with small loading and large amount of thinners, but it's just not it. Maybe you would like to share some of your secrets :)?

Hi Cranberry, thanks for the words.. ;)

Brambor, hi man, well, my english is not good enough to describe the tools process i use, but that being said, i'll post soon as i can a kind of tuts, to help.

You should try the diff presets in the blend tool menu, and normaly, you'll get your tools.

Otherwise, you have little tuts on www.artrage.com

Personaly, i used Painter that i like very much, very rarely Photoshop, but with AR3 we move a step beyond.

Let's keep in touch..

Great painting studies. Makes me wanna try out artrage. I like the thumbnails aswell.
The paintings are all reference studies, right? Do you have something other than that to show?

Keep it up!
