Personally I'd think twice about using a naked (surfing?) woman as a cover for a portfolio.
I'd paint something less daring, more serious.
Especially since the anatomy doesn't seem 100% convincing.
In general I'd worry more about the values and lighting ... less about texture and colors.
Look at feathers ... try to get them to look right without texture first and then pay attention to subtle things.
There's a tutorial about textures. Maybe there's something you find interesting in it.

If your going for fashion design, how come the girl is naked?
You should consider some more fashion related, but it's probably best to stick to the classic clothing styles (if there are any) so that the cover won't 'date' easily.
Plus using something classic make it appear that you know about some of the history of fashion, design etc.
Just a suggestion.

The standard fashion design proportion is between 9 and 10 heads....yours is still off, Olivier. The arm is too long and the legs are too short.
As someone who has done a bit of fashion design illustration, I'd like to second what's already been said - you need to impress them with your abiltiy to solidly illustrate and render clothing. If you took what you were doing into a full-on Mardi Gras or Festival outfit, that would be one thing, but a nude is probably not going to hit the mark.
It's a cool idea...but it would be better if done with the a dress that flows around the bottom, or a standing figure with a feathered hat, etc.
