Well this is the journey of a wannabe artist.

I'll spare the life story but basically as far as 2D image making goes (Drawing, Painting etc) I'm extremely bad, but also pretty new so I guess that is my excuse.

Anyway, I hope that with the feedback from you guys and girls I can become really good at drawing, which will then help me become a better animator :)

Traditional
001.Scene from Ratatouille
002.Charlie Chaplin
When I manage to take a good picture of the shaded version I'll upload that. It has some improvements the image, since I spotted a few areas where I'm off.
003.Anatomy Drawing
*Sorry for the low quality, my camera isn't very good at capturing graphite on paper.

Digital
004.Uncharted 2
005.Manowar Image
006.Model Sheet

The digital sketches are pretty crude, but I find it a good way to get into the creative mood.

Hey all,

It's me still, I had to create a new account though as I couldn't log in using the facebook connect thing and, well I didn't know what to do.

Anyway, some updates.

I've managed to get a picture of the charlie chaplin drawing, It's pretty clear that I have a long way to go with it all, but I'm going to try and commit to getting at least one image up per day.

Traditional
007. Charlie Chaplin001
008. Laural & Hardy

I messed up the Laural & Hardy drawing quite a bit, I really found it hard to start the drawing, I just looked at my blank page and felt a bit lost... But anyway, more work to come soon. :)

Ah yea, sort of excited about this bit of news, I'm starting a life drawing class this September. I do hope to be able to do good life drawings by then, but it's something that will benefit me a lot either way. :)

Haven't done as much drawing as I wanted to over the last few days, but assignments have kept me busy...

The cat drawings are my first drawings from life, like drawing something that isn't a photo or on a screen. I found it so hard! But I quite enjoyed it, except when I was half way through a drawing and my cat decided to move :P

Sup all,

Carrying on with my head study, I'm starting with the skull and I'll finish it once I'm able to draw a head from any angle (Probably take me a few weeks to get there far I'd imagine) Gotta keep pushing myself though :assspank:

I've modelled this skull in 3D and I'm going to run this along side the drawing, so I'll be drawing the muscles next and then modelling them and perhaps sculpting them as well, just so I can get a feel for it all.

The skull feels off to me, the zygomatic bone feels way off here, like it's too short, but I'm not sure if it's because I don't have the teeth in yet, perhaps that's throwing the proportions off a little.

Anyway, feedback would be appreciated :yayca:
