View Full Version : Suggestion: add Politics & Religion section to lounge

Its getting a bit ridiculous the amount of political & religious debate topics here. Maybe it isn't so bad, but the talks are usually so sour and it has nothing to do with art. Maybe it needs it's own section?

I don't see any need for this. Nor do I think there are any more now than there ever have been. Thread title are usually pretty descriptive, and even when they aren't, thread tags can be added, so people can either seek then out or avoid them if they wish.

I remember there used to be a Oohs and Ahhs section in Finally Finished and there was somebody who joined and made a thread about his drawings of obese people which just about everybody found horrible. I don't think it was long afterwards that Oohs and Ahhs went away.

The same would probably happen with this. At first a politics and religion section could be nice but soon it might attract all sorts of gits looking for arguments (nasty arguments, rather than debates) and then it wouldn't be long til it would have to go.

yeah i agree within a year they would change the subforum title to "bitches and rants"
