Viewing all the great art on this forum has really pushed me to try to raise the bar for myself to create work on the same level as all the freakin masters who post here.
I have long way to go before I can even begin to compare to guys like Daniel Horne and Jon foster, but thats not going to stop me from trying.
Some of these are finished some aren't, its just a lot of work thats been sitting around that not many people have seen. And if you like them good, but if you don't or you see something wrong even better just tell me so hopefully next time I can get it right. Thanx and enjoy

is there any sort of backstory to the first one? why a giant mech hand? why the 'ball' with eyes? why :p

apart from those questions, the artworks amazing. Goob job.

The first one is a painting of Robert Rodriguez the director of Desparado and Spy Kids I thought it would be cool to see him in both the worlds he created. Mech hand = Spy Kids, guitar case = Desparado

Really nice stuff here! My favorites are the top four...the character in front of the statue has a lot of expression despite being covered up. Thor looks powerful and his cape looks weighty and dramatic, although is arm doesn't really rise up off of his lower torso enough. The Sith guy is awesome, but I think he would look better against a resolved background instead of the black you painted in. Maybe some burnt up buildings...it's just that the clouds don't really transition well into pitch black. Wolvie has some problems that look to be resolved in what I guess are your later works (depth, proportion, background) so no big deal

Very cool

There are some executional problems with a lot of them (the unfinished quality of Thor, anatomical issues with Wolvie, the Girl with Guns on a Bed's face)...but those can all be worked out with practice. What I do love about these pieces is the drama and compositional elements. Those, you have a great eye for. I think that alone is worth a lot. Keep working on your painting/rendering and your figure drawing and you'll be a force to be reckoned with!

Looking forward to your next piece.
