Hi,

Like everyone else, I'm aiming to improve my drawing/painting skills. Hence, all comments, critics, and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

To start out this sketchbook, the first post is a still life digital study of a green pepper I did last night.

They were unreferenced, so maybe the proportions and gestures might be off.

Thought this time I challenged myself and try to do a master copy. Here's the WIP master study of Boldini. Struggled quite a bit.

Since I'd been just sketching with pencils, thought I should try to work on colors. So I picked one of the studies for the spartan camp and color it.
