Good Start.:)
I think you've got a good idea going, you just need to give us more visual information, such as texture, and more specific lighting, maybe a background.
Just keep playing with photo shop, the different brushes, and the different sizes of brushes and opacity.
I look forward to your next post!

As Jen said, Good start.
I'm no expert on colour, so I won't critise.
One thing that I noticed though, is the figures left ankle.
It seems as if he is standing on these thin boney ankles, purely because his pants cut in.
It looks almost as if he has a second knee, half way down his calf.
Now i don't want to come off as a harsh bastard, it was just noticeable to me and playing with it may help your drawing's overall appeal.
Nick.
Edit**
One other thing i noticed.
The chest is great, except for the last muscle, right on his stomach. It seems to be facing a different direction (at the camera) compared to the rest of his ultimate super-hero chest :)
