Hello All,
It's been a long time since I have last posted. Recently I left my full time job at Nihilistic to to work on some personal projects and to pursue a job in the film industry doing animation/art. Until I land a job working for a film company, I am keeping busy with my own stuff. Below are some concepts that are fairly recent.
More to come...but the next batch will be very polished and I will also spend some time coloring them.
One more thing... my website is back. It full of new stuff and some older stuff too.

Great posts everyone! Very inspiring stuff being shown around here.

heh ! as a fan of your WW artwork I can say these are much much older !!
I understand pretty well your need for change, going from classic illos to photo-manips, to chara-design and now it's animation ! I need to change too and I'm following the same path as you with a little delay. Well, I'm not here to say my life, I'm just interested and impressed by the way you are always into challenges.
Bravo mon ami ! :chug:

Living Rope!!!!---> Thanks for seeing the change and understanding as well. The b&w work for White Wolf was a fun gig, but it limited my every move...career wise. I could easily spend the rest of my career doing the same thing, but would suffer becuase of it. Does that make sense?
Over the years I have kept experimenting with different mediums. ANd...over all... it has been difficult BUT very rewarding at the same time. So many more doors opened up because of it. At the same time, there is no one set style that I can claim as 'Mine'. The pro's and con's of diversification I guess.
Yeah, now I am animating. I would have never guessed. But it works and it's rather fun.
The strangest thing that I am finding is this.... everything has a cycle. What goes around, comes around. Drawing benefits my animations. Animation betters my sense of timing and detail. Photo-manipulation better my sense of color. Each skill compliments each other. At least, that is what I have found.

bhuddistmonk---> Thanks.
azjohnl---> Did you find it easy to navigate around the site? Always worried that I make those type of things too difficult.

I didnt have any problem at all, i personally like how it was laid out, especially breaking up your illustration work in the different White Wolf categories. There was some great work in there!

verrry nice as usual.
Just one thing on your website :
Concept > Creatures > page 2 > Bottom Row > Second icon.
I'm not sure it takes you (http://www.jasonfelix.com/art_galleries/concept/creature/image22.htm) where it's supposed to :)

These are really great! I enjoyed browsing through your website too. Were the whitewolf illustrations done in photoshop?

J Bradford---> When it comes to B&W work, I tend to stick with traditional tools. Love working with raw ink and thick paper....feeling the tooth of the paper as I pull the crow-quill across. Still have a hard time creating the same feeling with the digital tool.
azjohnl---> Sweet! Thanks for the input!
egerie---> I checked out what you mentioned...but did not see the problem. Not sure what is going on.
