Well I like them! Two different styles of sketching, both are great!

I have just a couple of crits:

Most of the colored drawings are really good, but the one with the explosion in the bg and the sailors in the foreground...the shading on the people looks a bit here and there you know? I mean if you were going to silhouette them then maybe a solid color would have been better. If you wanted to add depth to them, then why stop at just one guy's face? How you have it, it sorta looks messy (in a not so good way). As well, for this same image, I really think you should have given layers to the foreground (and maybe a tiny bit of highlight on the edges of things).

On the 7th image, and this is just totally my opinion, but I would have liked to see that guy on the top left done fully with straight down strokes, cause I see how you were going for that with the hair and bg, but you lost it a bit in the face.

On the image after that one, (8th), th but on the bottom sketch just don't look right. I think it's the shading on the "crack", pardon my french :D

Anyways, that looks like a lot of criticism but its just a few small things. Overall I love all of the pages you've put up.

medraw: maybe your gamma isnt right because i didnt just stop at the face. plus its just a quick sketch, i wasnt out to create a master piece...which is why it isnt in the finished works section. as for the 7th image the point i was going for in the face was to be flat and graphic, which is why i did the shading all in one direction.
