EDIT: NEWEST STUFF IS AT THE END OF THE THREAD :D!

Hello :)

I am taking a chance here and I'm going to try and learn from you all, and I hope to take part in the "Character of the Week" challenges as well. I would like your advice on what I need to practice with and how you think I could improve. I have been working on improving my landscape and scenery techniques as well, though they have all failed miserably so far... I hope to show you my progress on those as I go as well.

Anyway, feel free to critique and comment. <3

Hi Tres. Ok, those portraits are excellent, everything shown here is great, except for the last painting, #7, never liked those. You said you're having a big time with the landscapes. Why not showing those "miserably failed" done so far, come on, make it soon. Keep working. See ya.

Sorry, I haven't updated recently or responded to your messages, so I will take the time to do both now.

Platonist & Mag Neo - Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy my work :)

Buffichar - Oh sweet, a stalker! Never had one before :D!! lol

aLDoDarK - Thank you for the support, the faces are always so fun for me :)

zou - Thanks for the advice! I've actually just finished taking my first "Life Drawing" class since posting these pieces, and I have improved a lot with anatomy! I hopefully can get some of those added soon as well.

gordebak - Thank you for your support and interest :)

Nenad - Thank you! And yeah, it's leaning towards the whole "fine art" thing, something I'm not too fond of myself, but it definitely taught me to be a little more loose with my strokes. Also, I have just posted a WIP of a project I am working on for my husband in the Critiques section that features my attempt at scenery. I'll post it here too, and see if I can't get a little more help on how to improve it.

Here's the link to the WIP: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=191166

I haven't updated this in forever... but here's some new stuff I've come up with :)

Side note: I do a lot of artwork for an Animal Crossing fansite, so you'll notice there's a lot of that kind of stuff in here. Also, a lot of this is stuff I'm continually working on, and so many pieces not completely finished. While I always try to finish my art, sometimes I just get bored with what I'm working on. I'm sure a lot of you know how that goes :)!

Hey there Tres_Chic :)

Your work has a really lovely quality to it. The first sketch you posted is fantastic.
I would like to see your process, especially for this last image. Could you maybe post a gif or something?

Keep posting!
