I'm gonna follow the provided Outline from the sticky here on conceptart.
Job Description: We are looking for 10 alien species concepts for a space Science fiction book. We have not decided, but we are either going to ask for orthographic style views to transfer the concepts to 3D or to print the concepts directly as b+w illustrations.
We are looking for an artist that can follow a brief description, like the povided example:
Triax are similar in appearance to insects, but this is merely a superficial resemblance. Triax are skeletal metallic bipeds with shingled dark red exoskeletons reminiscent of ancient samurai armour covered in intricate fractal patterns. Triax have unique multi-antlered heads and warm humanlike eyes.
Compensation: Right now we are looking for 2 types of quotes from artists. The first one is for the ortho views for 3D. The second is for doing the final illustration for print in B+W. Digital is prefered, but clean pencils and inks are fine.
Deadline: We do not have a specific time limit.
Usage: If we choose to print illustrations, we would prefer to display the image on our website, PDF distribution and Print copies.
