Sci-Fi Alien Concepts

Professional Concept Artist seeks critiques by other professional 3d modelers/2d artists. The background of the game is a sci-fi action game, wherein, the player character travels from planet to planet encountering native life. Presented are some of the proposed xenoforms with additional naturalistic background.

These are essentially pre-production stills. Our enviromental artists aren't on board yet and the text descriptors given by the art director are rough. I know that and have told the producers as much.

I'm probably going to nail down the illustrations more using my own judgement...go thru 2 or 3 more iterations...then covert them to scratch art with the typical positions.

The modelers are antsy to start up but since this is still the pre-production stage, I made the illos more 3/4 so they don't jump the gun and start modeling whatever I put in front of them :).

I'll post up more concepts as time permits.
