Hi!
I’m C. Nuan, an aspiring writer, and I’m looking to be of use! Having been through a few rocky collaborations and still very much enamored of combining art and literature, I’ve decided to tackle things head on, lay myself out like a carp on a cutting board, and be subject to the will of any wily artist that may need me… and/or any competent writer with a skewed sense of humor and a few chips on the shoulder. It’s an effort to develop a more amenable personality regarding collaboration and practice tailoring my perception and style to fit the needs of others, YOUR needs.
Presently, I’m taking on almost any project laid before me; however, it should be noted that I find honesty to be a matter of respect, not kindness, and have a tendency to point out clichés, plot holes, and flesh eating virii in in the interest of the “employer”. If you’re happy with such, man-eating germy things aside, then so am I; but, I will likely need some coaching to be of any use beyond creating dialogue. Sorry! Sorry! I KNOOOW! That’s why I said I was working on it!
As for your original ideas, I’m here to act as your narrative Swiss army knife! From complete narrative development to editing for clarity and flow, use me as you wish. Just like a visual artist, I am willing to develop multiple drafts and return to the pen again and again until the final product embodies exactly what you want, if not something better! My strengths are fantasy, science fiction, and historical fiction while I’m probably weakest at straight comedy; however, every opportunity IS an opportunity, so I would simply ask that you have patience with me when exploring other genres.
I am willing to cater to time constraints, but I would appreciate if they're mutually reasonable. Sure, I can write a novel, but not in two days~ Sorry, totally cop to that weakness. Also, because this is a pro-bono launch of literary love for the betterment of humanity (okay, me, right, me), please forgive me if I cannot stick to a strict schedule. That said, let's get to the meat and potatoes!
