Hi, im pretty new here, signed in yesterday and iv'e been trying to learn coloring my drawings but i got some problems.
Working in Corel Painter 8.1 Windows

Ok, the drawing aint finished as you can see. But i need help with making those edges look smother and shading/lightning. Since im a newbie at this only this work took some time. What i did was i erased some edges etc, and just colored with brushes the whole thing and erasing ugly edges.

I belive i need alot higher resulotion on the drawing since i am very annoyed by big squares everywhere.

I have no idea how to get hold of new brushes etc.

Well, thanks.
Calle.

Well, This is the sketch i scanned in. not finished, just wanted to start with my coloring faster ^^

Here is another coloring job i did, I had some problems with the lines i used before so i made then thicker to be able to paint. But i loose alot of details and stuff.

This took me about 40~ minutes. And comparing to the most of you guys u could do ALOT better work in that time.

So basicly i need help with making my lines filled but till pretty thin.
Also i want to know how to change the resulution in the picture, because this is really bad, u can see the pixels clearly after 1 zoom.
Can i recive scannings in Painter 8 (for windows) from my scanner and choose a better res?
Also i would like to get hold of some basic tutorials and brushes, thanks. Calle.
