Hi ALL,
I have 2 questions.
1) I have applied to quite a few colleges for an MFA course in Animation.
I would like to know peoples' views on the presence of industries in the area and their exposure to the mainstream business. Information about the how quickly students are accepted/absorbed into the industry and stuff.
For eg. People say " oh all the media and art industry is near the hollywood studios in california, so u have a better chance to get work there after u pass out."
It would be great to get in some views.
Here are the colleges.
- CalArts
- USC School of Cinematic Arts
- UCLA
- Rochester Institute of Technology
- Academy of Art, SF
- Savannah College of Art & Design
Also,
2) For SCAD which campus is better overall (Education & Locality) ? I am applying for an MFA in Animation.
Thanks.
