Another Character from my story titled Chiaroscuro. I worked on it on and off over the course of a week or so. I painted the background in Photoshop.

Interesting character design, I'd love to know more about the story.
Just be careful with the dark muted colors you're using, some parts of the character are starting to flatten out and become more pattern and less 3-d-esque form.
Nice job with the cloudy sky.

Quick comment.
The figure needs to be grounded more - the areas of shadow on the figure are farily stroung but he's casting virtually no shadow. Makes him look 'placed' into the background.
Interesting costume

This is pretty wicked. I like this design alot.
I would differeciate the colors some more, theyre all a bit low saturation and tending toward the grey. The sword tends to merge into his leg. There might be a few to many areas on the garment that go into the shadow too soon, creating too many dark hidden patches.
Is that some sort of tag? I dunno if it suits 100%. It reads a little trendish or like its slapped on for the sake of being cool (which is ok to do). I would try to incorporate it in a more subtle or stylised way.

Hey thanks.
Yeah. I need to work on getting those shadows down properly (damn diffusion)! The tag is actually part of an 'Elenhienz' seal. I do think it should read clearer though.
Thanks for your feedback!
