For you scanner users, this question is for you.
When I scan some of my traditional lineworks lately I notice the image is decreased in scale (scrunched as if it were) in height, making the image slightly squashed and well fugly. I use a Microtek scanner and pass the image onto photoshop for adjustments. Now this doesn't seem to happen all the time but lately I'll notice it right away from the moment I do a prescan in my scanner's main window program before passing it onto an image editer.
To fix this I normally just up the pixel/percentage of the image's height by 10% or so and get it as close to the original once more... Now, does any of you scanner users have any idea what causes this or how to fix it from happening all the time?
Much appreciated!
