hello all this is my second post here on concept art.org

it is my tdome entry against saltydog

inspired by the rats of the blubonic plague ( the desease was carried by the fleas on their back) and the doctors who wore bird shaped masks...

That is way cool. the basket is so nasty and moldy looking. I like the symbol near his head too. Its just different.

It seems the design of the creature is the most important thing..the background can definitely be played down a lot. My eye naturally gets distracted by the competing surrounding elements.

Very Cool Creature!

I love this theme!!! Have you created any of the other "horsemen" of the apocalypse?
The character is very unique. And I really get a sense of how it might move around.

thanks for all the replys guys!

yeah i agree that that background is a bit distracting, some contrast would really help bring attention to the creature!

i havent done many digital paintings ( concept art is more of a hobby, but one day id like to be part of a conceptual team)
so im still really ruff around the edges!

i am curently working on a website to post my work so ill have more to show soon
