Hi all
I'm working on a new project and need some help.
I've been making some 4x6+ type general purpose cards with envelopes and using a transfer process that starts with a photo that I take, but i transfer it to paper with a chemical and get a modified image etc.
I'm thinking now of just using this process to create my original and then scan this original modified image and have it reproduced by an on line printer-OvernightPrints will be my first trial.
But I don't have a modern scanner. I have an old HP OfficeJet G85 and I don't know, but I'm sure there must be better/higher quality units? Or is this as good as anything? I'm only scanning small things - usually about 4x6 so Its not a large size issue etc. I'm just concerned with making an image of the best quality/color sensitivity etc. Of course I'm guessing but I suppose I'll try to import this image to Photoshop--its what I have-version 7 I think? And of course my color editing etc can be done there. So maybe even my old scanner is good enough? What do you think?
Have you used anything that you might recommend. I'm totally new at this digital scanning/on line printers stuff. So any experiences of yours would be appreciated.
