I find myself rather direction-less. I'm a uber-noob (Check out my SB -.-) and I've recently been attempting to try and learn to draw the human face and figure, but perhaps I should go back to basics. How should I go about learning the fundamentals ? In fact, what exactly are the fundamentals ? Perspective, proportion, value, colour ?
When I try to draw from imagination I just end up frustrated and feel the need to like, break a puppy's neck or something.
I'd really appreciate it if anyone could outline what I need to learn, how I could learn it and in what order ?
I'm guessing still life's, Loomis, Bridgman, perspective books and the like...
Thanks !
