can you do somn about teh blurry pipes? also maybe jsut some faint details of the water in teh darkness--so the area where the shadow and light meet isnt so abrupt

that is some functional armor right there!

That's really amazing; all your effort has not been wasted. I love the beast. Keep the good work. Though I love the work as a whole, those underpants give me the creeps.

My only grief about it, is the pipes are blurry enough to take the focus off the beast itself. Just sharpen that up with a little detail, and it might not catch the wandering eye up there. Kinda hypocritical situtation.

But I love it--seriously. Keep it up.

the way you rendered the skin is really convincing, I love the way the blurry parts mix with the higly detailed parts (eyes).

one crit, i don't think the cast shadow on the wall works right. it has the same distance from the body every were and doesn't help read the from...not sure if it helps

well that's pretty funny crap, but good crap! i agree about the pipes, and maybe fix the water too, the lines are a little lazy looking, and if you do that you should add some water reflections on the wall and legs of the image, i think that'll add a lot of atmosphere, a flashlight on water in a dark tunnel makes for some fancy lightshows

yah,, those pipes are a bit soft.. shit i didnt notice that.
ill fix it,, not sure if ill have it for the comp though.
is it too late to update now?

i like the idea of the water reflections.. not sure how id pull that off but ill give it a shot.

i had his underpants really dirty, but i felt there was already too much brown in the piece and i wanted them to look awkward and stand out. so i went with the slightly cleaner pair.. if you could see the back you might be singing a different tune.. ;)
