greal polarity reversal with the left/right mirror, the color scheme and the character switch. did the magazine do a two cover print or a fold-out to show both somehow?

I wish it were a 100% left-right mirror-- the helmets would be on equal opposite sides and the orc-head in both images or none.

alternate realities, tho, very nice rendered and conceived!

Marc - these turned out really nice. Color is great as always.

I wonder though, if the good guy's eyes are a little too far apart? It's always hard with those helmet nose-guard thingys to tell....

Wow great images. I especially appreciate the design work of the evil helmet and armor. Having some subtle variation in the color of the "good" background would help make the piece even nicer. Great stuff Marc!

I love it,

There is one thing that bothers me though,

the two covers when presented together almost tell the story that the figure in the first cover was slain by the character in the secound cover. I say this because the corpse in the secound cover looks alot like the hero in the first.

That's just me being confused but I though it was worth sharing, now where did I put my pants......

very cool paintings there Marc...Im liking that second one the most,its just something about the guys beard on the first piece that gets me,it makes his mouth appear bigger or something,longer..it kinda ruins it for me,dont get me wrong its fuckin awesome,just that little bit makes me raise my eyebrow..
