I dig the robot. Robots are cool. I want to be a robot. The pictures are sort of big though. Need to make em smaller so I can see the whole thing.

That robot is awsome, but the third one has got to be my favorite, the way the hands grabb teh sword is awsome, and the backround is pretty good. you did a great job with the clouds and bird.

Muffinman, sorry i don't want to sound like that, but you know...
I'm not that great at drawing, but i get along and i learn something every day. Some ppl here are just starting out. I don't know if you've seen MindCandyMans thread, but he went from booo to woah, and the whole progress is documented in images and text. This forum is a great place for everyone from beginner to professional, and that's why i joined, that is why i enjoy it.
I've seen your pictures, and i just didn't feel like commenting. Why? Because all you do is either say someone is good or they suck. That's not the way it works. If it was, i'd have to say you suck.
I think you do have talent. Your drawings are not bad. They show understanding. But you got a long way to go, just as a lot of the others on this forum do. But you act as though you knew everything about drawing.
Newsflash: You're not a god. There's hundreds on this forum who're a whole lot better than you are. I think you ought to act a bit more mature. Please. Little Jackson for instance has a lot to learn, but your comments are just... man.

You don't have to work on a wacom in photoshop to post here.

You don't have to post professional concept art to post here. If that was mandatory, you'd be out. Sorry mate.

You don't have to know much about drawing to post.

Nice work man. I like the third drawing you did in your first post. You got some great ideas going on. The porpotion maybe off on some the drawings but practice makes perfect. I also noticed that your shading in some of your drawings seems a bit rushed, try taking your time on the shading and you'll get better results. Keep up the good work

Hey Muffin. I think your drawings show potential. I think you just need to further your skills by not doing manga. Its like eating candy all the time, it rots your teeth. It teaches your all the bad things about learning anatomy (which is important to successful cartooning). Its pretty hard to learn to draw realistically while learning to draw inproportional cartoons.

What I'm about to say may sound like a rant, but its not. Its just constructive critism; Your manga characters seem too familiar. The robot reminds me of Evangelion. The face of Mr. Tofu and the other robot seem familiar but I'm not sure where I've seent them from. Maybe they were inspired by other manga's or artwork (I'm not saying your a copier, I think that its a subconcious type of thing). I just think that a lot of your pieces seem unoriginal. You can practice anyway you want to, you don't have to listen to me. I'm just telling you what I'd do if I was you.

Are those photocopies? Maybee they are or maybee the're not, but if so then you should ink them a little after you make the copies.

I ask because the images are kind of griddy.....a lot of sharpness on them.....

yeah, thekon...it seems that you can ink the image better with photoshop than with pen.

and AnarchyAO2 thanks for the long lecture...also i love manga..the stories are way better compared to the american comics...well except spawn and battle chasers.....but i love manga and anime!!!..like hellsing, trigun, One Piece, Naruto, Cowboy bebop, Peacemaker, Noir,...Heat Guy J, Tenchi, and Exel Saga. Exel Saga was the most hilarious anime ever! I also watched Haibane Renmei and Ai yori aochi....the list is endless.
I have watched anime that never even came out in america or if any of you guys ever heard of.. you may know about people getting it off IRC,in fact i get most of it off IRC...
As you all know now, i was inspired to draw becuase of the first anime i have watched and read which was DragonBall...as you all can see i was inspired by the awesomness and beauty of Manga and anime!
