Hey... I just found this site. (it's great!) I thought I'd post a couple of my old paintings... because I don't have any new ones.:( Well, after falling asleep for about 5 years.... I've decided to get going again. So, yes.. these are more than 5 years old. I've started a new painting so hopefully it'll be posted in here soon. :D

Yeah, great work! The hand holding the fish is sweet. So is your palette. It's like Anita Kunz colors, except better.
Don't be a stranger!

Akumulator, it's a crime to have stopped painting for five whole years. ;) especially when seeing these two fabulous paintings.
i would definitely like to see more.

Wow! I really like your style! Just out of curiosity, is there a concervational message in these paintings? Maybe thats obvious....or maybe im way off, but when i first looked at the two i got the sense that both of the main figures where being haunted about killing an animal. Just wondering.
Looking forward to your next piece(s).

Heh...no, I don't know. I like animals and putting them in situations with people. It's strange because I guess I never thought too much about it... but now that you say it.....
Funny... my new painting is similar. :)

heh, well they say paintings tell different stories to different people lol. It just looked like the guy withthe razor was about to kill some chickens and an angel is stopping him. Then you have a bluefooted booby on the shoulder of the other guy lookin like he's on his case about the fish lol, and i think those birds are endangered. Oh well, nobody has to know, you can sell them to some bleeding heart animal lovers for major $$$$:D

Thanks for all the nice responses. :) It always helps to have some positive reinforcement to get you going. I thought I'd add one more old painting from around the same time as the other two. I don't like it as much but I like how the hand turned out.

Yeah... 5 or 6 years ago. But back then I was moving around a lot and could never afford to keep up with promotion everytime I had a change of address. I'm not sure how I feel about freelance now... I have a good job now so I may just paint for myself (or gallery). :)

Hi,
This is your conscience. Don't you dare stop painting again. It's an order.
Ever.
Amazing work. Very Mark Ryden in a good way.
Cheers,
P
