Im interested in looking for any storyboard books that might be for films, games, tv ect or even a mix of different storyboards...im not sure if these even exist, but at a uni interview i looked at one, wish i had got the name!

I've got http://www.amazon.com/Directing-Story-Professional-Storytelling-Storyboarding/dp/0240810767/ref=dp_cp_ob_b_title_3/191-7472250-0130335

I haven't finished reading it yet, but it's a pretty good introduction to animation storyboarding specifically. I also own The Storyboard Design Course but I haven't managed to read it yet. I'll let you know once I've given it a look, but from skimming through it seems to talk about a broader range of subjects than just animated films (like live action and advertising etc).

I'm doing sequential illustration but the book is relevant to anything regarding storytelling and images, really.

Here are some I can recommend:

5 Cs of Cinematography (http://www.amazon.com/Five-Cs-Cinematography-Picture-Techniques/dp/187950541X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1266031650&sr=1-1)
Comics & Sequential Art (http://www.amazon.com/Comics-Sequential-Art-Principles-Instructional/dp/0393331261/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1266031550&sr=1-1)
Graphic Storytelling & Visual Narrative (http://www.amazon.com/Graphic-Storytelling-Visual-Narrative-Instructional/dp/039333127X/ref=pd_bxgy_b_text_b)

These 3 books cover different areas & elements that go together perfectly for storyboarding. Another thing I'd recommend is looking into Sergei Eisenstein's theory of montage (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_montage_theory). I believe some things in the aforementioned books might come together with the montage theory or even seem contradictory to what Eisenstein says, but it's all interesting and fun to read about. I was introduced to his theory in David Mamet's book On Directing Film (http://www.amazon.com/Directing-Film-David-Mamet/dp/0140127224/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1266032949&sr=1-3) which is also a fun read.

The important things to remember are; to read as much as you can, analyze films, and have fun. Don't forget about composition too. It all may sound crazy, but as long as you take notes and analyze films, everything will come about nicely.
