Wow ! its been a long time since posting anything. Im gonna try and post something maybe once a week, hopefully it will get me back in the swing of things. havent spoken to many of you for a long time and i hope to hear from you guys again, hope all is well.
These are just a couple pages from the book project weve been working on. Were done with the first issue and are trying to get started on the second...Im actually doing all the pencils, plus were actually looking for a colorist so if anybody knows anyone and maybe interested, holla at me. its not a paying gig but were hoping to get published when all is done. you can check the website for more info... www.theborderhounds.com.....

Sajad, you are a total badass, my friend. I can't add too much to what anyone else has already said. It's something like a veritable sugar/caffeine overload*zzzzttt!* Too much good art. I just subscribed to a new thread.

Sounds like you and I had a similar beggining in drawing...kindred artistic spirits maybe? I also emulated those same comic book artists when I started getting into drawing heavy, back in middle school. Just drew since I was little, no formal training. Collected comics a lot. Jim Lee is THE man. Travis Charest, Mark Texeria, Bart Sears, etc etc. The Lion-o and Cheetara is nice.

I would dig it if we could do some Thunderdome stuff together or start some other challenge, maybe start a fan-art thread for everyone to post in? Thundercats, X-Men, or just all 80's fan-art challenge anyone? What do you think, Sajad?

Keep updating this thread dude. Finish your major. Then go back for art, for it is your true calling. Seriously.

Keep checking my threads too, if you have time. I'd appreciate your thoughts and crits. Thanks for all the eye candy.

Hey man. Your work reminds me so much of what I used to do in high school. I had an affinity for Michael Turner and Joe Madureira. Comics are a great stepping stone to learn basic anatomy, stylization and proportions. I think more observational work from life would suit you well. Draw 5 objects in 5 minutes once a day (a family tradition over here). Drawing people from life is tough but a great exercise. Observing as they move helps you pinpoint proportions and get a more 3D feel to the subject. It becomes like sculpting.

You're in the right track. Keep it up.

Hey max, thanks for the support. Im gonna try and make more of an effort to get back in gear and start keeping up with my craft.....heres just what i was able to scan today, ill try and scan some more doodles this coming week.

this was a quick sketch that i did for a friend while at dinner, i still have to send it to him. got into it with a sharpee........the demon looks real wack but whatever, i like the rest.

Dude, I just found this site today when looking up other artists' work and, I have to say, you have the most raw talent I've seen in a very long time! It's kinda a bummer that you don't post that much anymore... I, myself, am a terrible artist and really consider myself more of a doodler than anything else.
