Slimebot painting - progress

Working on a digital painting using photoshop. Thought I'd chronicle it here and hopefully get some feedback. I'll start with the original pencil, then the next post will be the progress in photoshop.

Pretty basic sketch so far.

Threw down some flat colors, and pulled in just a few details to get a feel for how it'll be in the end. I also modified the robotic head, mostly for fun.

Slashed more paint on there to give me some form to work off of, and now I'm working in smoother shades and highlights and pulling out more detail.

I think of slime as being rather shiny. It could use some more intense highlights.
