hey guys, i joined a week ago, really like the quality of work on this forum. plus you guys seem to actually reply to stuff, anyways, heres some sketches and me learning coloring in photoshop.

the color work on that last one is really good. quality stuff overall.

Very nice. You've definitely got a better grasp on anatomy than me.

I don't really like how you really define the shoulder as three very distinct parts. I think it looks a bit odd. (forget about whether its correct or not) I also think you should blur the areas where different planes meet on the blue muscle color job, as the sharp edges are sort of distracting. Not much to say besides that. Keep it up.

hey guys, thanks for all the replies. you know, you're right about the shoulders. I've just done it that way for so long that I don't realize how weird it actually looks lol. I'll try and change that up.

Um, no, I don't really use any coloring tutorials. In fact, I'm still using photoshop 5, and this wacom tablet I bought on sale. I just really like the coloring skills of some of the guys in my program www.apt604.com, arnold tsang's coloring especially, and I use a lot of their work as reference for my coloring.
