;) EDIT: ***SCROLL DOWN TO MY LAST POST FOR UPDATE***
WOW, welcome back guys- i havent posted in the 3d section for a long while, i can see alot more tradtional sculpture here then 3d apps, but thats cool. You all are doing a kick ass job! Here is just a WIP i am losely based on a concept creature i drew back in college. I will post more renders in next week, for now here is my latest rendering (as u can see there are alot of portions that i havent touched like the torso, but again its a WIP only about 1/3rd done). Below the render is a line drawing I am refering to. I hope u all like and of course C&C is always welcome....OKAY back to the Tunderdome!!!!

here's my crit:
good prgress so far
make the ears more realistic- use human ref
make sure the toes are arcing, not straight in a row, and try out differing the sizes (why three toes anyway?)
i want to see the model as assymetrical as the design
-hope that helps!

thanx guys.
Benzo: thanx for the crit, i see what you mean on the varying the size of toes, they are actually diffrenet, but now when i look at the renders ypu cant even tell (i'll change them). The reason for the three toes is becasue its not a human design, its supposed to be some madeup creature w/ human characteristics. Yeah i see the ear problem too, thanx again i will put some more detail on them too. By the way i have long admired your work on your site- you have some great talent!

.... if anyone wants to put in there 2cents that would be great, the model has a long way to go still befor the models done, so C&C is essential. This update i added shoulder pad, threw in a rough strap and detailed the straps around the gauntlents. thanx again to all that have replyed thus far your feedback is wonderful.

Wow, this model really appeals to me! It looks great. I wish I knew something about modeling so I could give some constructive crit, but an ego boost is always nice too, right? :)

Your model is looking really nice so far. Nice detailing on the clothing, armor, etc. My only suggestion would be to work more with the body underneath all of that clothing. Compared to all the detail on the clothing, the body just looks so basic. With how detailed you are with the stiching and stuff on the clothing, I would expect to see bumps from where the ribs poke out a little bit, more definition around bones in the limbs, and even veins in the neck or wrists and arms. To sum all this up, I think the body needs more work because it looks like it's falling behind the clothing.
