Hello, I am new to the community and conceptual art. I am an artist to a certain degree, I am not that good and I am looking to greatly improve my abilities. I use vellum sketch pads, and have an Intuos for my Photoshop Application. I am so sick of starting a drawing with an idea, and not having the skills to make it look refined and perfect to my eyes. I am wondering if someone can suggest a good place to start, and warm ups to maybe help my performance. I love drawing characters like Iron man, hulk...ect...but I suck at it. I want to get good at it, and I have practiced believe me, I feel like I am doing something wrong. So any pointers or tips would be nice. Thanks guys!!

Basically it comes down to this. Keep drawing until you get to the level you want. How you go about it isn't as important as drawing constantly with the goal of improving.
There are studies out now that say it takes about ten thousand hours to become accomplished at something. These same studies show it is more about doing the work than so called talent.
Draw from life, decide what you don't like about your drawings and then work to fix those problems until you are satisfied with the result. There is no other way to do it.
