Ive started a piece that Im doing and came up with this mechanical woman. I haven't really explored into doing mech or cyborg type of art. Im planning on coloring her in photoshop or Painter 8, but I'm waiting before she just looks right. Any suggestions??

Can't wait to see this colored, maybe you could make her escaping from a big lab tube thing or something, if u didnt have anythin else in mind ^_^

Thats what we want! More rude cybernetics. Two small crits. The pic starts great in upper left. Then the pose turns a little flat with both arms and head in profile. And I believe that the back of her head is missing. Perhaps intentional (brain inside cables) but it looks less attractive.

Really cool stuff, but: (always a but eh?)

I don't like the round thing next to her mouth, and That belt thing that wraps around the cables in the middle left doesn't seem to wrap around the back of the cables.

Thanks everyone for the crits and compliments. There is actually going to be more to the piece wich I will have to complete on another piece of bristol. And do you guys know of any place that has a scanner bigger than the standard size?

Your local copy shop might, but I wouldn't know.

Ya I tried Kinkos but they only got standard sizes. Also they're idiots too!

Is there are more professional print shop somewhere or is Kinko's the only thing in your area. Try the phonebook, maybe there is something there. Or scan in with a normal scanner and then assemble the pieces in Photoshop.

Your pic is pritty good. It looks like s mix between a borg and the chick form of the aliens in the movie Species.

The thing around the mouth is a little bit of a nusense go with kiss(keep it simple stupid)(no offense) otherwise looks just fine
