Hi all,
I'm looking for a artist (more down the line depending on how things go) to do some images for a web based sim game that I'm in the process of designing. I'm after someone who is willing to work closely with me via discussion/quick concepts and throwing general suggestions/ideas at me as I'm looking for someone who'll be willing to a few pieces a month over an extended length of time.
Style wise I'm really leaning towards a more painterly feel, rather than the harsh rendering a lot of digital art gets. I'm not interested in comic/graphic/cell shaded art at all. I'm after detail but not hyper realism.
Currently looking for someone who's good with character/creatures though further down the track will be looking for environment and items artist/s. The direction this will be leaning towards is fantasy with a steam-punk feel.
This is a self funded project, so funds are limited. Payment with be USD via PayPal. The price range I'm looking at is between $20-$40 per race (will be three) and $15-$30 for their pets (three breeds for starters, but will always be added to)
