I picked up a Intous4 today finally.
I'm running Windows Vista.
My problem is with either usb port on the Intous4 I plug it into, it remains right hand mode. I tried setting it up multiple times as left hand durring installing the drivers, and had no luck. I have tried updating the drivers as well. And changing tablet settings in "Control Panel" (was worth a shot)
I've run out of ideas, I've also tried it on my laptop with no luck.

Anyone have any ideas? Had this problem?

I tried googling and searching here, but this problem doesn't seem to have any light shined on it.

I always have to ask, but are you using the latest drivers from Wacom's site and not just the ones on the CD/DVD?

Yes I am, I even went so far as to exchange it for another at best buy, still the same problem.

I also tried setting the installer to administrator but that didn't work either.

I figured it out!
Thanks for attempting to help me with this!

I know this post is old, but.

I'm having this same problem. No matter what I try I can't get the tablet to orient into left hand mode. What did you do to fix this?

thanks for the Link! For some Reason I had follow the instructions several times Before it worked. Initially it never brought up the screen when I clicked on the pen. After the 5th or 6th time all of a sudden The correct option menu appeared. Everything looks to be working great now!
