So finally a place where I can put my crap up without fear! So folks, here is my crap. For now, my focus is on human anatomy and getting a grasp on that. I actually read through some of the stuff people put up here, and one member said to try and understand WHY something is the way it is to help better with the HOW, so that is a concept I will be trying to apply to all my works from here on out!!

My goals for improving in art:
1) Human Anatomy
2) Animal Anatomy
3) Perspective
4) Scenery
5) Digital art
6) Working with colors

Remember folks! Never give up! Never surrender and give in to your doubt and fears! Keep pressing on and strive to be the best artist you can be! If I post up my crap, then so can you!! *Raises fist in the air and starts shaking it like a mad man*

Here is my next one-a-day. Sorry for not putting one up yesterday. I was over at my families for the night and sadly didn't get as much done as I had hoped. Anyways, here is the image, and the reference used:

Anyways, what I am looking for is basically accuracy when it comes anatomy as that is what I am working on. Correct proportions and such, and if using the human skeleton as a basis is a good idea.

Hey man, it's great that you've started a sketchbook, it's definitely nice to track your progress and commit to being consistent with work.
It's also good to see you have the right attitude, that's huge for something that takes years to really get good at.
If you haven't already you need to download some of these Andrew Loomis books, they're great for getting started, and just great overall.

I'd definitely recommend Figure Drawing For All It's Worth, as well as the one on head and hands. But the figure drawing one will give you a good structure on the body and anatomy which will really help you out.
Keep it up, and good luck.

To Untouched24: Thanks a lot! I will be sure to download and read them then!

So here is some more stuff from me. Once again, trying the whole understanding the WHY to get a better understanding of the HOW... I just hope I'm going about it the right way though.
