I posted this in the Lifedrawing section but no one replied. Let me know what you think of it, where I could improve next time, etc.
Thanks

im still holding out for this delusion that when i take figure drawing classes next year as an art major all the life models will be cute girls in their early 20's with tan skin and perky round boobs.

LOL Eric, you could only hope. Most of mine tend to be older fat, balding men. I don't mind though, I like drawing the variety and the unique features that only old age can bring.

...to make people unable to draw.;) It's been my experience that the quality of students' work declines in direct proportion to the attractiveness of the model. They do much better when they don't worry about making thier pictures "look good".
Interestingly, this applies to both male and female students, but only with female models.

because women can do anything with their sexuality, fuck petty shit like getting out of speeding tickets - a beautiful girl is the most powerful thing on the planet.
thats why attractive girls sell products to both sexes. want to sell makeup to girls ? put a hot girl wearing the make up in your magazine. want to sell shovels or tires or butter or motor oil to a guy ? put a hot girl next to a shovel.
do guys fit into this equation anywhere ? no.

i think the next step is to express an opinion... a focal point... a center of interest... tell a story...

Really nice. I don't really have any crits about the body. But if you don't mind the nit-pickking...
In her face, I think her ear is a little high in relation to her eye, and her nose is pretty big. I think faces get neglected alot in many people's figure drawings, though. Especially including my own.
Keep up the good work!
