These are all very nice.. I think I like the second one the best myself. The third is also very nice. I think for a logo those two would work the best. Gives blind justice a sense of permanence..

Maybe a combination of the two? I like the simplicity of the third option, especially in the hands and sword but I like the more detailed look on the face and fabric/body (although I'd maybe not use cross hatching to match the simple feel.) on the second.

Just my thoughts :D

Hi dr.,

You said you want the lady for a logo. Will it be together with letters or has it to stand alone? īcause if you want to work it together with letters it would be important to see them, to see how you imagine them to work together.

Itīs a good, simplified drawing after all. I personally would go for a much bigger abstraction. Of course this is my personal taste in Logos. So for a Logo I think the 3rd try in your first post wold work best but I canīt really judge it because it hasnīt got the letters with it. Without them it is too open form (hope I can make myself understandable) and you should work on it.

Furthermore youīve got to consider, where it is published or shown. I would work just with vectorstuff (Freehand or Illustrator) to be able to print it with every medium and in every size you want. If you will use it real small - maybe a letterhead or business cards some of your designs are to fragile and the lines will break. Best way to test it is to print it in different sizes and if possible with different printing screens.

I think you wanted to hear about proportions and not about designing logos but thatīs - at least from time to time - my work ;) I could talk for hours about it ... be glad I havenīt got much time :p

I hope I could help you a little bit.
