hey munky, promising start, i'd say from looking at these your anatomy needs a bit of work, i'd suggest bridgemans complete guide to drawing from life. amazons sells it for a very reasonable price.
good website hosts..............................hum............ .......domaindlx.com aren't bad they can be a bit of hassel though, photobucket.com is the one a currently use, seems to be good, you get tonnes of space too.

hey munky, your sketches are looking good, but i think you could do with starting with the basics rather than going straight in their with a finished character. try anatomy studies, head sketches, shading practices, self portraits.........all of these things not only make it easier to do finalilised sketches and characters, but it makes it quicker, gives you more ideas, better and it gives you a better understanding of human shape and shades.
good work though, your keeping up well......and making progress:)

Munky,
I agree with swift about the studies. I recommend to everyone to study George B. Bridgman and Burne Hogarth books. You could easily find them at Barnes and Noble or Borders. Also, keep pu these studies of the masters' works. They obviously got something right, so why not puzzle out what it was and learn from it?
Have fun, most of all.
Sincerely,
Chris
