Comic artist needed for 6 page pitch.

Hello, we are a small writing studio struggling to team up with compatible artists. What we are trying to do is get a few different 6 page pitches drawn so that we can print them up and shop them to different publishers. The end goal is trying to sell and turn our 6 pages into a 6 issue mini series so we need someone who can commit to a better paying decent sized job down the road at some point. All of us at SDL Studios are trying to break into the business so we are going to be working hard to sell this project and have good relationships with people who also want to make a career in comics. We are taking this very seriously and need people who will do the same. All of this is being paid for out of our pockets for now, but if and when our project gets sold we believe in 50/50 profit sharing on all levels... so the money will get better. We have quite a few different writers working on books in different genres, so there are lots of different ideas for an artist to hopefully connect with. I promise, as both a creator and an outsider to this work, it is very good and very sellable.

Onto the details-

WHAT WE NEED: We are looking for hardworking comic artists who can follow through on commitments and work at a decent pace. This is a must. We are hoping for people who can work in a mainstream action style (Marvel/DC/Image) but will look at other interesting styles. We would be willing to discuss using a separate inker if needed.

PAY: $50 per page. If you NEED more and we think there is a good chance we can work together we can go slightly higher. If/when we sell the project we will go back and prorate the 6 pages to the proper higher page rate.
